Richard LaFranchi is a Senior Software Engineer at Charter Communications, but started out as a freelance web developer in 2011. Having started building websites using PHP and WordPress he has since expanded his skillset to building web applications and has developed a passion for the Ruby programming language and Rails web framework. He specializes in helping small businesses and nonprofits, and his clients include Flatirons Inc., the Perfect Earth Project, and AcuBliss Acupuncture. Richard holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado and has completed the Tealeaf Academy bootcamp for Ruby on Rails web development framework.
